Installation of drivers (scanner and printer) works fine.
Needs iscan_2.26.1-3.ltdl7_b and iscan-data_1.6.0-0_all.deb from AVASYS website Ubuntu sees the device as SX110 (same drivers) so I think sx110 will work as well.

Install iscan_2.21.1-6.ltdl7_b from avasys.jp/eng/ Ignore the error-messages when closing the xsane. Then "sudo gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/les": add your scanner in GROUP="scanner" make sure your user-ID is in the group "scanner". You can get the IDs with sane-find-scanner (install sane-utils). You need to add the product ID and device ID to /etc/sane.d/nf, ie set the usb line to "usb 0x04b8 0x0819". Scanner requires libsane-extras package to be recognized. To enable the scanner (for non-root): add the vendor ID (0x04b8) and product ID (0x0813) to /etc/udev/rules.d/les You can get the IDs with sane-find-scanner -q. On Mac OS X, this is normally already installed by Software Update, so VueScan should just work. Reported to work on 32 bit with drivers from Epson web site in Japan fails on 64 bit I installed both iscan2.10.b & iscan-plugin-gt-94001. Edit /etc/sane.d/nf - line: 'firmware /etc/sane.d/esfw41.bin'. This is the same problem I had for Ubuntu 11.04: Running a epson Scanner perfection 3170 but I cannot apply it for Ubuntu 14.04. Place driver esfw41.bin (from Windows installation) into /etc/sane.d/. Extract firmware from official drivers using unshield, then set path in /etc/sane.d/nfĪutodetected by xsane, works fine - except buttons I cannot get an Epson Perfection V200 Photo scanner to work on Ubuntu 16.04. Works Out Of The Box except the front buttons.
Just Works! execpt for buttons on front which have no effect. Edit /etc/sane.d/nf - line: 'firmware /etc/sane.d/esfw41.bin'.
